Welcome to Cajon Pass Pictures Archive

January 17, 2004

Today was a very slow day through the pass, so I went the Summit Valley and found these UP units waiting to head east.

At Blue Cut with five engines heading up.  This was a stack train.

A closer look that the lead two engines.

A UP stack train heads up right behind.

Heading West just before Swarthout Canyon

This was an interesting shot, only two Dash 9's heading up the pass.

Heading East.

BNSF Warbonnet heading East.

Here is a shot of a BNSF heritage I with two NS units.

These are the same trains that I caught at Blue Cut.
