Welcome to Cajon Pass Pictures Archive
Saturday August 21, 2004
Early morning and I raced up to Sullivan's curve to catch this BNSF consist with two CN units.
At Cajon Station a BNSF 4708, only one of 20 heads down.
At Summit These two UP helpers sit idle waiting for their next assignment.
Then the Southwest chief came through at 9:00 a.m.
An interesting consist with an ex SP unit on the back.
Then a Flag unit heads down.
Close to the witching hour of 11:00 a.m. an clean UP unit came through Cajon Station.
At Blue cut a BNSF unit emerges just as the other consist passes.
In the afternoon two BNSF units about to pass one another at Swarthout.
Then a old, well worn ATSF unit heads down.
My lucky shot of the day.
That's all for today.
